About Me
Hello and welcome to the Mid-State Technical College Associate Degree Nursing Program.
A little bit about me. I received my Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. My Master's in Public Health is from the University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse, and my Master's in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. As you can see, I love learning and believe in life-long learning.
My experience in health care includes pediatric nursing, public health, and pediatric mental health. I have been a staff nurse and supervisor. I volunteer as a parish nurse and have participated in several medical missions to Haiti. The mission to Haiti was a life enriching experience for me and I hope to return again.
In my free time I can frequently be found on my bicycle. I also enjoy cross country skiing, camping, reading (especially mysteries), needlework, and playing the violin. Recently, I began to take harp lessons and I am enjoying learning something new as well as benefiting from the soothing music of the harp. But most of all I enjoy being with family and friends!
I love being a nurse and am excited to share that with you. It is my role to assist you on this journey. I look forward to the opportunity!
