| About Me...
I graduated from MSTC's Associate Degree Nursing
Program in 1999. I started my nursing career in Long Term Care for
two years, and then moved to on to work in Public Health for another
five years. As a Public Health nurse I worked with the maternal -
child - health population with an emphasis in children with special
health care needs, childhood lead poisoning prevention, and prenatal
health.
I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in
2003 from UW Oshkosh, and then started teaching for MSTC as adjunct
faculty for the nursing program. I became the lead nursing assistant
instructor at Mid State Technical College in January of 2007.
I am currently completing my Master's Degree
in Nursing with an emphasis in education from Bellin College of
Nursing in Green Bay. In spring of 2007, I was inducted into the
honor nursing society Sigma Theta Tau.
