This course is designed to assist the student in preparation for the State Certification Exam. If you are a lapsed nurse aide and have worked as a nursing assistant in the last 5 years in the state of Wisconsin then you are eligible to sit for the exam to become current once again. If it has been greater than five years since your last employment as a nursing assistant you will then need to retake the entire nursing assistant course and then sit for the state certification exam.

After registering for this course at any MSTC campus location you must email me at carrie.engelbright@mstc.edu to schedule a face to face appointment with me on the Wisconsin Rapids campus. You must also purchase the course handbook at any MSTC bookstore. I will assist you with the application process and answer any questions you may have about the testing process.
