About Me
I grew up and spent most of my life in Florida, but love the wonderful
people and places that can be found in Wisconsin.
Prior to coming to Mid-State, I taught marketing and business management
courses in both undergraduate and graduate business programs. I
also lived in Osaka, Japan
teaching conversational and business English for ESL learners.
My business experience has been in various marketing and sales management
positions for the marketing and business
analytics software industry to the world of
educational simulators.
I received my Bachelors degree in Political Science and my Masters of
Business Administration from the University
of South Florida (Go Bulls!)
in Tampa, FL.
Professionally, I'm continually drawn to learning in all areas of
business, but really enjoy the topics of consumer buyer behavior,
marketing segmentation, professional selling (especially
business-to-business sales), the implications of the global economy, and the
applications of various technologies in the business environment. I
strive to bring real-world examples and stories into the classroom as
often as I can.
Personally, I have a passion for learning about global commerce, world cultures,
and trying different foods from around our planet
(Ever try fried bugs?).
In my opinion, you can get no better education than in the classroom of
the world!
