About Me

 

I started teaching at MSTC in October of 1989.  My primary teaching responsibility
 at this time is with third semester nursing students.  The focus of that semester is 
medical surgical nursing.

Prior to teaching at MSTC, I worked as the nursing
supervisor of a critical care unit in Powell, WY, as a staff 
nurse in a critical care unit in Cody, WY, as a nursing supervisor 
in Yellowstone National Park, as a staff nurse in a cardiac catheterization 
lab in Milwaukee, WI, and a staff nurse in Oconomowoc, WI.

I received a diploma in nursing from Milwaukee County General Hospital School 
of Nursing.  I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Alverno 
College in Milwaukee and a Master of Nursing degree from the University of 
Washington in Seattle.

 


I am currently  a member of the scholarship committee for the Wisconsin League for Nursing  
I am an active member of the Heart of Wisconsin District of the Wisconsin Nurses Association (WNA).
 
I serve as the parish nurse for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids.
