About Me
I am currently clinical faculty and work with 2nd and 4th semester students who are assigned to complete clinical courses at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids. I also assist with the Nursing: Clinical Transitions course in 4th semester.
My goal from a very young age was to be a nurse. I graduated from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing (Marshfield) in 1982. I eventually went back to school and obtained my Bachelor's Degree through UW- Eau Claire and later my Master's Degree through UW-Madison. (GO BADGERS!) :)
My clinical experience in nursing has included Medical/Surgical nursing as well as Critical Care and Emergency Services nursing.
I made the move here to MSTC in January of 2002 and enjoy teaching very much!
I am a single mother of one daughter (Cora) who I adopted from China in 2001! I think she's awesome and I cherish each moment I spend with her. I am currently in the process of adopting a second daughter from China which I'm hoping will happen in the near future.
