Expectations for Written Work in Suzanne Rathe's Courses
It is expected that any written assignment submitted to me will meet the following criteria:
- Typed, 12 point Arial Font
- Double Spaced
- 1 inch margins on top, bottom, and sides
- No graphics unless requested specifically
- White paper (recycled paper from the library or computer labs is acceptable)
- Name printed on top of first page
- Stapled if more than one page
Points will be deducted, regardless of content, if there are:
- Capitalization errors
- Spelling errors
- Grammar errors
- Punctuation errors
- Parts of the assignment are incomplete or unanswered
- Requirements that are unmet
- Content of paper is plagiarized (assignment will receive a zero)
Points will be deducted if assignment is submitted late.
- Any assignment submitted past the due date will be penalized 50%
- Any assignment not submitted within one week of due date will receive a zero.
NOTE: I reserve the right to return assignments to students without grading if there are an unreasonable amount of errors. Students will be responsible for re-submitting assignment within two days for grading.
