AITP Student Chapter Meeting

February 13, 2006

Joe Roppe, president called the meeting to order at 1 p.m. present were:

Old Business

The treasurer’s report was viewed and Juli moved to accept it, Helen Seconded. 

The bake sale that is being held on 2-14-2006 was briefly discussed and people were scheduled to cover the whole day. Students will cover till at least 2pm, Helen’s sister Jen will come in and help at noon. Helen and Brenda can help after 4pm. 

The Girl Scout Technology Badge day was discussed. Helpers can come in by 8 am and have bagels and orange juice and help set up. Forty one girls have signed up for the day. They will be here and hopefully all checked in by 9 am. Sherri will introduce the AITP people and any volunteers on hand. Then the girls will disperse to rooms 101, 102, 104, and 138 for the Just the Basics learning session. At 11 am the girls in room 138 will move to room 136 for the Hardware session and the rest of the girls will remain in the rooms that they started in for the next sessions. Room 101 will be the Get Practical session, 102 will be the Fun and Games/Comparison Shopper session and room 104 will be the On the Job Software session. The members at this meeting were assigned to specific jobs and asked to canvass for more volunteers. The planning and room assignment lists are listed on the I drive: I:\AITP\Community Service\Girl Scout Merit Badge\Planning if you need to look at them again.

Rob Vidal moved the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Juli Swenson.  Motion carried.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:49 p.m.
